By a young genius of 13 years of age.
THE GREY-HOUND: A FABLE.
A hound the fleetest of the breed,
To hunt the chace of scour the mead,
As panting once, he stopt to drink,
Upon a gliding rivers brink:
he chanc'd his shadow to explore,
And view'd his members o'er and o'er,
Whilst in his mind he doubtfull weighs,
Which of his parts deserve most praise.
